Justin has over 22 years’ experience across multiple facets of the IT industry, from business development to high-level analysis.
He previously worked for multinational consulting and outsourcing house CSC, designing and delivering workflow and imaging solutions in the Workers' Compensation space for the likes of MMI (now Allianz), GIO and QBE.
After moving into a Business Analyst role Justin spent several years working for Singtel Optus in revenue loss reduction, ensuring business and call record processes were geared to the agreements in place between telecommunication companies in Australia and abroad.
In the last 10 years Justin held multiple roles at a leading international law firm, including as Business Analyst and Systems Administrator. Drawing on his skills in technology and analysis, he implemented the first Matter Sphere installation in the southern hemisphere, and liaised between inhouse developers and external providers to successfully integrate off-the-shelf software platforms into the firm’s bespoke inhouse systems. During this time he gained extensive knowledge of the major PMS and DMS solutions.

John has span more than 20 years working in professional services, primarily accounting and legal. He was the General Manager of IT at DLA Phillips Fox for 10 years and more recently the CIO at Gilbert + Tobin. Prior to that he was an IT Director at Coopers & Lybrand for 10 years. He also spent two years working with Ethan Group with a focus on the legal market.
John also has considerable experience working as a consultant, especially within the manufacturing sector where he has been responsible for conducting strategic reviews as well as ERP evaluations and implementation. He has also worked in the Project Office of the Colonial Bank, helping to coordinate a major program for system modifications to cater for the introduction of the GST. More recently he has been working on strategic reviews and RFPs.
During his career John’s roles have covered most aspects of IT, including operations, development, infrastructure and project management, and has worked and consulted to a variety of businesses in UK and Australia. His broad business and IT experience means he can offer value to any organization.
Rob is a highly accomplished business campaigner with outstanding leadership and entrepreneurial skills. His 30 years of experience includes founder of two software companies, head of IT for a large multinational, a consultant for technology services, Client Manager and Business Development Manager for a number of global technology leaders, Regional Strategic Alliance Executive for IBM, and Sales Director for a legal practise management software and services provider.
Rob’s work spans the Legal, Government, Enterprise IT, Software Technology, Biotech, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Distribution and Service sectors in large multinationals and mid-sized enterprises across the Asia Pacific region.
Dave has more than 30 years of experience in the development and implementation of software in the corporate environment. He is an accomplished technical professional who thrives on innovation and maintaining practical skills in current technologies. He is also an excellent communicator and has great collaboration skills.

Patrick Ng – Principal Consultant
Patrick has almost 20 years’ experience within professional services, primarily 15 years as IT Director at national law firm Maddocks where he was key to how the Firm conducted its business, risk profile and operational relationships with clients. He has also consulted to manufacturers, educational institutions, retailers, property developers and tech firms and has been a guest speaker on legal tech on many occasions.
He is considered to be a frank and logical communicator with a creative yet socially sensitive approach. His industry expertise covers both strategic and operational briefs. His tech expertise covers enterprise databases, internetworking and interface design with deep point expertise in EDMS, practice management, case management and litigation related technologies.
His custom innovations include the development of sophisticated data driven publishing systems, Australia’s first remote court access system, digital document review systems and development of the market leading legal full service web offering.
Patrick particularly likes well thought out, creative or innovative ideas that create new approaches to traditional challenges while also giving consideration to the future.
Kate has more than 12 years legal experience, having worked with a variety of boutique law firms and consultants as well as a number international known law firms such as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Mishcon de Reya, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, and DLA Piper Australia. In recent years Kate’s training & consulting has expanded into Accounting & Finance and Insurance industries.
